Two successful international conferences were held in Hiroshima

Two successful international conferences supported by the HCVB were held in Hiroshima in July 2018; the 25th International Congress on Sound and Vibration (July 8th to 12th) and the 2018 Inaugural Joint World Congress of Stuttering and Cluttering (July 13th to 17th). It is notable that the number of participants of the latter significantly exceeded expectations without being affected by the flooding that had hit Hiroshima earlier in July. This was thanks to the effort of the organizer to reassure participants that they could get to Hiroshima safely providing them with real-time traffic information via Facebook and organizers’ app.

Around 30 international conferences will be held in Hiroshima in the rest of 2018.
