Lantern Floating Experience

This program gives participants the opportunity to have an experience of Toronagashi.
Toronagashi is a ceremony in which people float paper lanterns with messages of peace down the river. In Hiroshima, Toronagashi was started by those who lost their families and friends due to A-bomb for the pray for souls of the dead and the reconstruction of Hiroshima after the end of WWⅡ.Toronagashi is held every year on the evening of August 6th.
Toronagashi is one of the "Hiroshima Experience Events". Through this experience, we hope that the participants send their own message of lasting peace for the world.
